Your path with us – in four steps

  1. STEP 1

    Appointment & location

    Online via Doctolib or by telephone. Choose the location closest to you – for specialised treatments we will tell you where to come.

  2. STEP 2

    Examination

    Vision test, eye pressure and examination under the microscope. If your pupils are dilated, you must not drive yourself for several hours afterwards.

  3. STEP 3

    Discussing the findings

    We explain what we see, which options exist – and what that means for your everyday life. You make decisions without time pressure.

  4. STEP 4

    Treatment & follow-up care

    If necessary at the Stadtmitte surgery centre. Check-ups afterwards again at your local practice.

What you should bring

  • Your health insurance card
  • A referral, if you have one
  • Your glasses and/or contact lenses, including their prescription values
  • A list of your medication, especially eye drops
  • Previous findings from other ophthalmologists, if available
  • If your pupils will be dilated: someone to accompany you or a public transport plan for the way home
